AweMUD

AweMUD is a powerful MUD server designed for free-form, fantasy settings. AweMUD is not yet complete; many features, such as AI and scripting, are still in embryonic stages. AweMUD uses Scriptix [?] for its scripting engine and supports the ZMP draft.

Zenith MUD Protocol

ZMP is a simple but powerful MUD protocol that rides on top of the telnet protocol. It is intended as a flexible, powerful, secure, and simple to implement alternative to other MUD protocols like MXP and MCP.

ZMP is supported by AweMUD and PyCL.

PyCL MUD Client

PyCL is a simple Python/GTK based MUD client, written to allow experimentation with ZMP and AweMUD. PyCL is not intended to be feature rich, but instead to be as simple as possible.
